A redesign for my first (and probably well-known) OC, Darry Fenton.

Darry was originally created for an old fic, Nicktoons: Time Fixers where he takes Danny into the future. Sorry but I deleted it. I took an instant liking to Darry and decided he and the future generation have their own series.

This was a long time ago where I did stupid stuff. I didn't realize but was making Darry the main character of every story which could be why few people don't like him. I figured that the series should star not only Darry but others like Tammy, Tommy, and SpongeTron, each having their own background and episodic fic.

This is probably the reason why I quit Time Fixers and stopped drawing Darry.

But later on, I started to miss the series and decided to rewrite it all over again with my friend ~SOLmaster11. This time, we're making it better and adding more interest and craziness in the series. Not only it's about the team but it's about the original Nicktoons as well and a new team of junior Cadets.

When we started the series, I thought instantly that Darry should have a redesign and I drew several doodles. One problem is that Darry LOOKS like Danny. Though his personality is different from him, I tweaked a bit of his hair and took off the white streak.

I thought to myself WHY does Darry have the same hair in BOTH human form and ghost form. So maybe he has the streak in ghost form, indicating he's quarter ghost? When I was introducing Yuki, SOLmaster told me that she shouldn't have ghost powers since powers are not really genetic so I thought Dar only has a quarter of Danny's ghost DNA but does not have ALL of his powers.

His new look is taken from a design made for a old story which SOLmaster used in her fic: The Final Countdown. He even have his mom's combat boots :P

I actually liked that look better than the previous one and decided to use it. I turned the shirt into a hoodie and gave him khaki pants (since I rarely see any DP OC wearing brown pants or such). To make his hair different, I cut the edge off and add lines like Dani's for some reason. I always wanted to give him longer hair cuz a friend of mine didn't think it fits him so the mullet is a bit short almost like Ben 10 from the original series. ^^;

I really LIKE this redesign better than the old one and satisfied with the hair. So this is the finalized version...for now.

If some of you are wondering about his ghost form, no worries. I changed that too and made it better (if you noticed in The Odd Generation and SketchBook WIP)

it's ok. i was just reading the final countdown story and i got to the part where she sees jimmy and the others so i figured she was in another story before that one. :)

Well, she was in The Ultimate Showdown as well, and made a few small appearances in Howler of the Night.
